With Axsy Smart Forms, you can map specific elements in a Smart Form with fields belonging to the source Object record running the Smart Form as well as to fields belonging to Object records that are linked to the source record via a lookup relationship.

Mapping an Element with the Mapping Lookup tool 


It is good practice to utilise the built-in Mapping Lookup tool that allows you to find the specific field you are looking for and insert it with the correct mapping path already configured.

Example Object Model


Smart Form Elements – such as Text, Numeric and Picklist Elements - can be mapped with fields of the source Object record running the Smart Form and fields from its Lookup Objects. As an example, let's assume that you have a Smart Form that is to be run on the Work Order Object. See below an example object model for the Work Order Object, showing a sample of different standard and custom fields & objects.
